You know the moment. Wardrobe packed, hangers crammed, and still standing there in a towel thinking you've got nothing to wear.

It's not a lack of clothes. It's a lack of a way to see them. Pieces get forgotten the second they move to the back. Outfits you loved three months ago vanish from memory. The good jacket sits unworn because you can't remember what it goes with.

So you buy something new. Again. And the cycle carries on.

Why I built this

I'm Debbie. I've spent twenty years in a career that's moved me across the world — Aberdeen, Perth, Singapore, Ghana, now Houston. Every move, I rebuilt my wardrobe for a new climate, a new culture, a new version of myself. And every time, I ended up with a closet full of clothes I couldn't quite pull together.

I tried the capsule wardrobe thing. The colour analysis thing. The stylist-on-Instagram thing. None of it stuck, because none of it worked with my clothes, in my life, on my Tuesday morning when it's raining and I need to get out the door.

Vestis is the app I wanted to exist. It learns what you own. It learns what you like. It checks the weather. And it tells you — quietly, without judgement — what to wear today.

What Vestis isn't

It isn't another shopping app dressed up as a wardrobe tool. It won't push you to buy things you don't need. It doesn't sell your data. It doesn't run ads.

When Vestis does suggest something new, it's because there's a genuine gap — and when it does, it'll steer you toward secondhand first. Because the most sustainable piece in your wardrobe is the one you already own. The second most sustainable is the one someone else already did.
